Protect Your Home With Sharp Plasmacluster Air Purifier

Air pollution in India is a serious issue with the major sources being fuelwood and biomass burning, fuel adulteration, vehicle emission and traffic congestion. The Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act was passed in 1981 to regulate air pollution and there have been some measurable improvements. However, the 2013 Environmental Performance Index ranked India 155 out of 178 countries.

Last year the WHO assessed 1,622 cities worldwide for PM2.5 and found India home to 13 of the 20 cities with the most polluted air. PM2.5 are tiny particulate matter in the air and are a major component of air pollution that threatens both our health and our environment.

The New York Times recently published an article about how the increasing air pollution levels in Delhi has given rise to a new market for air filtration masks and air purifiers.

“With expatriates and health-conscious Indians leading the way, residents of the Delhi metropolitan area of 25 million people are finally taking steps to protect themselves from the health-threatening atmosphere, as people in Beijing and some other heavily polluted Asian cities have already done.

…..Air purifiers, from $50 to $1,000, have been flying off the shelves. And an Indian entrepreneur has been selling high-end, designer air masks in Khan Market, among the most expensive retail areas in the world. When the store’s owner, Jai Dhar Gupta, began selling the masks in January 2015, he estimated that he would sell about 10,000 a year. He sold that many in nine days.”

It is clear that air pollution is a real threat, not just outdoors, but also indoors.

Rapid urbanisation and constant infrastructure development has led to most modern high-rise housing with limited sunlight and ventilation. In smaller apartments, furniture creates spaces that are favourable breeding grounds for infection causing substances.

Sometimes, we don’t even realise the number of things affecting the air we breathe at home.
QNET’s Sharp Plasmacluster Air Purifier helps you create a healthy and safe home environment for your family.

Plasmacluster Technology – Splits water molecules into positive and negative charged ions, which spread throughout the room and surround airborne particles. This system effectively restores the natural balance of ions in the air, like near a waterfall or just after a thunderstorm. This restored balance helps refresh the air and leaves it smelling cleaner.

Humidification Function – Adds humidity to the air for improved air quality and maximum comfort, especially in colder weather when the air tends to dry out. It also helps reduce static electricity that results from dry air.

True HEPA Filter – Captures 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns that pass through it, including pollen, mould, pet dander and dust. The special Antimicrobial Layer provides extra protection against viruses.

Front Display – Shows Plasmacluster operation, dust monitor, humidity level, and indicator light to determine when the water tank needs to be refilled.
